Yes, we have no bananas...

AP reported a solar flare knocked out several radio communications systems Wednesday morning, including some radar and plane systems. It may be time to consider a Faraday Cage.
If I ever became a prepper, I would prep for 1 of 2 things: the loss of our electrical grid and/or economic collapse. Loosing electricity long term would cause the later. We would probably be shocked if a math genius calculated the probability of either of these happening within the next 10 years.
The funniest thing about this article in USA Today was the last sentence, which stated “Later in the day Elmira City Code Enforcement officials condemned the home for unsanitary conditions.” If there was ever a legal avenue for the local government to remove someone from their home, just let them condemn it. They probably believe it’s just another form of sanitation…taking out the trash.
Note to self: Never publicly hate on the current administration, especially when the Secret Service is in desperate need of positive news headlines!
Talk about a great actor. This guy was able to convince a British court that he was quadriplegic and part-time comatose. They caught him through video at the supermarket, which they decided to check because he had an active loyalty card.

Yes, some days I'm still
proud to be an American

Just when you thought we were safe from another home mortgage bubble, the Feds look to create the ideal conditions for it to happen again! Feds announce plans to ease tight credit allowing more people to qualify for morgates! By definition, this is insanity. Don’t take my word for it, read it in the New York Times
Speaking of banking, loans and interest rates, lawmakers in at least 8 states have allowed the loan industry to raise fees and interest rates charged to borrowers with subpar credit. They attribute these changes to a surge of campaign donations through a lobbying push. There is no telling where this rabbit hole will lead…probably more bankruptcies and lawsuits. This has got to be banker & lawyer heaven. The Times has more…
Lawmaker(s) – the politically correct term now used by mainstream media due the negative connotation and perception of the term “politician(s)”.
Here’s a great “no-brainer” question. Why would President Obama delay his entire agenda until after the midterm elections? My first thought consists of one word – unpopular. Fox Nation
Part of me wonders (the sick part) who will be the first to be eliminated if or when the SHTF in America. Bankers, lawyers, politicians, preppers, Christians, Muslims, Jews, minorities ect… I guess looking at the history of Nazi Germany would probably be a good indicator.

Denial,
because it’s easier to sleep at night…

Human beings would rather believe a comforting lie than a terrible truth. And let’s face it, if man-kind were to receive a grade for allowing history to be his teacher, we would flunk.

Due to its unpopular effects, I have resisted the urge to comment on our economy for quite some time, but I feel the need to share what I believe the greatest threat to life in America as we know it.

If you think America is not closing in on disaster, you may want to do a little more research. Our country, and the world, are preparing for economic and social Armageddon.

We are amassing debt at 1 trillion dollars per year, which is not sustainable. As we print more dollars, they become more worthless.

We have 171+ trillion dollars of unfunded liabilities (i.e. Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, ect…) which is impossible to fund using the current system.

We judge our economy by the stock market, which is easily manipulated. We have created a paper ponzi scheme especially if you add up the derivatives .

We are bailing out banks and watching big business leave the country in record numbers.

Our unemployment rate is 23%. Just because they have changed the formula to make it look better doesn’t make it accurate.

During the depression, we had soup lines. Today, we still have soup lines, but it’s not as noticeable since they’re in our grocery stores. Fifty million Americans line up using  food stamps.

I am not an alarmist. I am not being cynical. I am accepting reality, which I hope you choose to do as well.

No amount of blame will change the situation, nor will it provide a solution.

Allow history to show you what the future holds. Take action. Take the time to prepare. Consider it insurance that you hope never to collect.

Do not leave your welfare in the hands of this government. If they deserted God, what makes you think they will give us a second thought?
