Nothing about nothing

Based on this article, my medical records are worth more to hackers than my credit card number…go figure…
I can only assume we are fighting ISIS because we think all the other Arabs declaring fatwa against ISIS won’t win. I surely hope our politicians don’t believe that just because we help them out doesn’t mean we are allies…or will ever be allies. We already have a Trojan horse inside the USA, they just haven’t revealed themselves and taken up arms yet…
I guess we can’t just let them go to war and kill each other because it would disrupt the supply of oil coming from the region. Lord knows they’ve been fighting for thousands of years. I’m not opposed to them fighting each other… Is that bad?
I am not displeased to see the resignation of our illustrious Attorney General Eric Holder. However, I am apprehensive about his replacement and how far he or she will go to circumvent the constitution, sidestep the law and extort more money from the private sector…
He will go down in history as protector of voter’s rights (to get Obamaphones - unless they voted absentee from the cemetery) and his efforts to end racial discrimination in the justice system (fail). If I were him, I wouldn’t want to explain to his great grandchildren why they will have to commute to China to get a decent job.
Well, I read on the Diety’s blog that the economy grew at 4.6% rate last quarter. Surely I’m not the only American that does not believe any of their numbers. Due to their ever-changing formula that creates a more positive total, I choose to just look around and see if we’re better off now than a few months/years ago. It’s like the unemployment rate, getting them off the books and out of the equation doesn’t mean they’re employed.
Enjoy the nice weekend weather and those you care about. And if you get bored, count up all the blessings in your life money can't buy and figure out how wealthy you are...

It's a disease in my mind...

I’m not sure how I feel about the mother who went to jail for giving her 16 year old daughter a pill to induce a miscarriage. Although I am a devout Pro-Lifer, the article in the New York Times left me sympathetic to her situation. Our government can force us to vaccinate our children, but make us an enemy of the state for taking action to help our children, even though I don’t personally believe this was the right thing to do. Sadly, I believe the only reason she went to jail is because she bypassed a doctor and pharmacist in obtaining the medication.
As much as I hate to admit it, freedom of choice in this country is diminishing. It’s like hunting or fishing without a license. Hunting and fishing is not free, but permitted by a fee.
I keep reading that it’s gonna be a record year for snowfall. I mentioned this to a local farmer and he told me he didn’t need to read the prediction, he already knew. He told me what his grandfather shared with him many years ago. That when a bad winter was coming they would make a good hay crop. That God would provide enough hay for their cattle to make it through a bad winter. I’m not likely to forget his grandfather’s wisdom…or faith.
Speaking of climate change, did anyone else appreciate the moderately warm summer this year. I sure liked it…
I don’t know if you’re into the conspiracy theory sort of thing, but I watched a video on Youtube by “Anonymous” concerning the downing of Malaysian Airline MH 370. It gave motive, which if true, would make perfect sense. Of course, I will continue to adhere to the 50/10 rule: Believe 10% of what you hear and half of what you see. That rule has served me well for over 30 years now…
And here they go again, the G20 summit sharing with the world how worried they are about a stock market bubble. They have been going on about it for a year now. Based on the history of the markets, as well as the economy, if you haven’t prepared for such a contingency, you could be considered a fool. It’s a continual cycle. And it’s all just on paper, easily controlled and manipulated. Big banking heaven…
I find it laughable that the U.S. and France want the U.N. to impose sanctions on foreign Islamist fighters. I thought we were at war with these individuals. I must reiterate the immortal words of Crocodile Dundee, “kill the dopey bastard[s]’. I thought that’s what you do to terrorists…
