I must be getting hard of hearing since this news is a month old and I am just now being made aware of it. 

Of course Lockheed will comply, they're completely dependent on government funding or approval of sales to other countries.

With only days to go until Election Day 2012, we look here at the most egregiously false and misleading claims from the entire presidential campaign. Some examples: 

▪ President Barack Obama claimed Mitt Romney is planning to raise taxes by $2,000 on middle-income taxpayers and/or cut taxes by $5 trillion. Neither is true. 

▪ Romney claimed Obama plans to raise taxes by $4,000 on middle-income taxpayers. That’s not true, either. 

▪ It’s also not true that Obama plans “to gut welfare reform by dropping work requirements,” as Romney claimed.  

▪ Equally untrue is the Obama campaign’s repeated claim that Romney backed a law that would outlaw “all abortions, even in cases of rape and incest.”

Annihilation of the middle class?

President Obama had us all fooled… until now! Here’s how the scam works. 

Banks are allowed to “borrow” from the fed at virtually zero% (0%). they then take “our” money and loan it right back to the government, a risk free handout to the banks, from us. The bank’s loan some of our money to the middle class and poor at 4% or 5% whatever they can get. Home loans, car loans, etc., that’s more free money to the banks. And, what they can’t loan, they throw into the stock market… in bundles of billions of dollars… driving up stock prices. 

All these gimmicks create huge profits for the banks, printing and loaning trillions of dollars keeps interest rates at zero. Obama and Bernanke keep telling America low interest rates are good for the economy. 

The banks and traders are getting richer and the poor, the middle class, retirees and pensions are being taken to the slaughter house. 

The bottom line, President Obama is exactly the opposite of what he is selling the American public… he is the friend of the fat cat bankers, brokers and thieves and a cancer to the neediest among us.

Obama Administration Set
To Sponsor Health Insurance

WASHINGTON — The Obama administration will soon take on a new role as the sponsor of at least two nationwide health insurance plans to be operated under contract with the federal government and offered to consumers in every state. 

These multistate plans were included in President Obama’s health care law as a substitute for a pure government-run health insurance program — the public option sought by many liberal Democrats and reviled by Republicans. Supporters of the national plans say they will increase competition in state health insurance markets, many of which are dominated by a handful of companies. 

The national plans will compete directly with other private insurers and may have some significant advantages, including a federal seal of approval. Premiums and benefits for the multistate insurance plans will be negotiated by the United States Office of Personnel Management, the agency that arranges health benefits for federal employees. I don't understand why they won't let us invest and participate in these government takeovers? Oh, we will be made to invest? Cool!! What?... we will probably be forced to participate? That's sounds more like it...

Texas Threatens To Arrest UN Election Observers

Texas authorities have threatened to arrest international election observers, prompting a furious response from the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). 

“The threat of criminal sanctions against [international] observers is unacceptable,” Janez Lenarčič, the Director of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), said in a statement. “The United States, like all countries in the OSCE, has an obligation to invite ODIHR observers to observe its elections.” More at The Hill

THE HORROR!Madonna booed after touting Obama in New Orleans Concert

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Madonna drew boos and triggered a walkout by several concertgoers after she touted President Obama on her "MDNA Tour" in New Orleans. 

The Material Girl asked during Saturday night's performance: "Who's registered to vote?" She added: "I don't care who you vote for as long as you vote for Obama." Drawing boos in touting Obama over Republican Mitt Romney, Madonna followed: "Seriously, I don't care who you vote for ... Do not take this privilege for granted. Go vote." 

Madonna is often outspoken. Some Colorado fans, mindful of a mass shooting there, complained she used a fake gun to shoot a masked gunman in a recent concert act in Denver. A Madonna concert in Paris in July drew ire when a video showed a swastika on a politician's forehead.  USA Today

I know of nothing more debasing than a performer being booed during a performance.  It seems she's not performing for a bunch of mindless teenagers any more...some of her fans may not be better off than they were 4 years ago.  Maybe there weren't a lot of people at the concert on welfare, food stamps or had Obamaphones... 

She may not consider "redistribution of wealth" has affected her income YET...but based on ticket sales and now this incident, either her popularity is heading south, people don't have the money to attend or she is becoming irrelevant in today's culture.  

That Beverly Hills ideology doesn't go very far in the south, particularly while the POTUS is creating division and discord among American economic classes and other groups as well. 

I did notice she's performing in South America starting the end of next month.  Is it courage or greed?  I wonder how much security she will need and the amount of "Kidnap & Ransom" insurance they will purchase for her.
