Not sure of the humor...
You make the call!

How do you tell a Romney supporter from an Obama supporter?

Romney supporters sign their checks on the front.

Obama supporters sign them on the back.

Confrontational Christianity???

Muslims Pelt Christians with
Rocks, Bottles -- in Michigan

Law enforcement officials in Dearborn, Mich. said they are investigating reports that dozens of Muslims shouting “Allahu Akbar” threw rocks, eggs and chunks of concrete at Christians marching through the 2012 Arab International Festival.

Bible Believers, a Christian ministry known for its ‘confrontational evangelism,’ drew outrage from Muslims after they marched through the annual Arab International Festival with a pig’s head and signs denouncing Islam.

According to local reports, some of the signs declared “Islam is a religion of blood and murder.” Another sign accused the Prophet Muhammad of being a “child molesting pervert.”

A member of the Bible Believers filmed video as they group was accosted and attacked by Muslim young people.

“Let’s beat the s*** out of them,” one of the Muslims scream. “If you don’t like Dearborn then go the f*** back home.” Fox News

Condemnation, protest and casting stones will do little more than provoke anger, not influence someone to convert to Christianity. We are called to love the sinner, hate the sin... I don't know who leads this group of misbehaving souls, but somewhere they lost Christ's message of "love your neighbor as yourself" Matthew 19:19; 22:39; Mark 12:31; Luke 10:27; Romans 13:9; James 2:8; 1 Peter 3:8; 4:8; 1 John 2:10; 1 John 3:11

or

"the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness,..." Gal. 5:22; 2 Thessalonians 3:5; 1 Timothy 6:11; 2 Timothy 2:22; Titus 2:2

or

"This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you." John 15:12; 15:17; Romans 13:8; 1 Corinthians 16:14; Ephesians 4:2; 5:2; Colossians 3:14; 1 Thessalonians 3:12; 1 Thessalonians 4:9; 1 Peter 2:17; 1 John 3:23; 1 John 4:7-21

or

"Love your enemies" Matthew 5:44; Luke 6:27; 6:35

or this prophetic message to the church:

"This is the message from the one who holds the seven stars in his right hand, the one who walks among the seven gold lampstands: I know all the things you do. I have seen your hard work and your patient endurance. I know you don’t tolerate evil people. You have examined the claims of those who say they are apostles but are not. You have discovered they are liars. You have patiently suffered for me without quitting. But I have this complaint against you. You don’t love me or each other as you did at first! Look how far you have fallen! Turn back to me and do the works you did at first. If you don’t repent, I will come and remove your lampstand from its place among the churches. But this is in your favor: You hate the evil deeds of the Nicolaitans, just as I do. Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches. To everyone who is victorious I will give fruit from the tree of life in the paradise of God. Revelation 2:1-7

Happy Dependence Day!

Wish I said that...

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest accomplishment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

Made me smile...

Beggar-In-Chief

President Obama sounded weary and maybe a tad worried late Friday during a rambling conference call with campaign donors whom he repeatedly begged to send money—and send it now.

Nevertheless, we’ve gotten more done in the last three years than most presidents do in eight years … I just hope you guys haven’t become disillusioned. I hope all of you still understand what’s at stake and why this is so important …”

The president’s 18-minute pleading—a recording of which was provided to The Daily Beast by an Obama contributor—hardly sounded like a man doing a victory lap after Thursday’s Supreme Court ruling upholding Obamacare, as the Affordable Care Act has come to be known. Or, for that matter, like a candidate who has been beating his Republican opponent in recent polls of key battleground states.

More on this very interesting conversation at the Daily Beast

~~~
I am somewhat encouraged that one of his previous supporters recorded the conversation and forwarded it to a media outlet that would publish it… Seems all his former supporters aren’t as loyal as they once were…
Now that Washington has taken over health care, the next big money takeover will be energy...hide and watch!
