Police Chaplains Told to Stop Invoking Jesus

For the past seven years Pastor Terry Sartain has ministered to police officers and their families in Charlotte, N.C. Whenever the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Dept. invited him to deliver an invocation, he prayed in “the name of Jesus.”

But not anymore.

Volunteer chaplains in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Dept. will no longer be allowed to invoke the name of Jesus in prayers at public events held on government property.

Major John Diggs, who oversees the chaplain program, told television station WSOC that the policy is a “matter of respecting that people may have different faiths and that it is not aimed at any one religion or denomination.” Fox News

I can't wait until they tell a Muslim Cleric he cannot invoke the name of Allah if he prays at a public function on government property. I don't know that they will be quite as agreeable...

Power & Control
VS
Truth & Justice

A Tale of Two Scandals

[Watergate, 1973] '…Republicans broke ranks with their President to find out what the President knew and when he knew it, Democrats are standing firm to try and make sure the American people never know what did the Attorney General know [about Fast & Furious scandal], when did he know about it and did he lie to Congress?

...The painful truth is that we now have a major political party in Washington that will do anything, say anything, bury any scandal, just so it can hold on to power. Gone are the days when Democrats would step up for the truth for the greater good of America.

Gone are the days when Democrats could put aside partisan bickering in the best interest of the nation.

Gone are the days when Democrats loved this nation and could be counted on to be patriotic.

Today, Barack Obama and Eric Holder are both symbols of the new Party of Treason.'

Condensed commentary from Tea Party Nation

The parents of murdered Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry, who was killed by illegal wielding Fast and Furious weapons, have released a statement surrounding today's events:

"Attorney General Eric Holder's refusal to fully disclose the documents associated with Operation Fast and Furious and President Obama's assertion of executive privilege serves to compound this tragedy. It denies the Terry family and the American people the truth. Our son, Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry, was killed by memebers of a Mexican drug cartel armed with weapons from this failed Justice Department guntrafficking investigation. For more than 18 months, we have been asking our federal government for justice and accountability. The documents sought by the House Oversight Committee and associated with Operation Fast and Furious should be produced and turned over to the Committee. Our son lost his life protecting this nation, and it is very disappointing that we are now faced with an administration that seems more concerned with protecting themselves rather than revealing the truth behind Operation Fast and Furious." Regardless of political affiliation, if you want my respect, much less my vote, stand up for honesty and integrity instead of covering up your mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes, but everyone doesn't have to use their position and power to cover them up...

The promise of "hope and change" is half true; although the promise of 'change' has been utterly disgraceful. What happened to "more transparency in government" Mr. President? DC

I could care less about Democrats, Republicans, political parties, movie stars, sports figures, skin color, gays or our news media. None of them will matter if we lose everything that means anything to us... The Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away...

For the record, I don't see many conservative Republicans around any more...except maybe at fund raisers!

Obama’s Former Law Professor:
The President ‘Must Be Defeated’

"President Obama must be defeated in the coming election," Roberto Unger, a longtime professor at Harvard Law School who taught Obama, said in a video posted on May 22. "He has failed to advance the progressive cause in the United States."

...The professor went on to list his complaints:

"His policy is financial confidence and food stamps."

"He has spent trillions of dollars to rescue the moneyed interests and left workers and homeowners to their own devices."

"He has delivered the politics of democracy to the rule of money."

"He has disguised his surrender with an empty appeal to tax justice."

"He has reduced justice to charity."

"He has subordinated the broadening of economic and educational opportunity to the important but secondary issue of access to health care in the mistaken belief that he would be spared a fight."

"He has evoked a politics of handholding, but no one changes the world without a struggle."

This guy seems to know what he's talking about...and it's scary! How far down the toilet are Americans going to let this President flush us? On the bright side, we won't need near as many lawyers in the event of martial law or dictatorship...

Did the President violate
his oath of office?

Former Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez remarked, "looks like a political calculation to win Hispanic votes and subjects him to criticism that he is violating his oath of office by selectively failing to enforce the law." Buzz Feed

The Indoctrination of Our Children

5th Graders Learn About
Oral & Anal Sex

"Fifth-graders at Onalaska Elementary School were supposed to get a lesson about HIV-AIDS, but the class discussion turned graphic when a child asked about other forms of sexual activity. The principal, who happened to be teaching the class, then told the children about oral and anal sex." Fox News

If you don't believe our government is indoctrinating our children through our school system, you may want to consider asking them a few questions about their thinking on morality and beliefs.

You might be shocked that you don't share the same beliefs and values that you were taught; often times leading to bad choices with dire consequences...

As parents, we should not rely on public schools or even the Church to instill the values we were taught. It is not their place, it's ours.

It is a distinct possibility that, one day, you could wake up and realize that their beliefs are no longer influenced by your teaching and experience. DC
