Before you go whining
about gun laws...

Before all the strict gun law advocates get to raising hell about how stricter regulation prevents crime, you might want to read this, "...among the top 20 states with the strictest gun laws, as rated by the Legal Community Against Violence, seven have death rates from guns that are higher than the national average." at the Daily Beast.

You might want to check it out...

I heard about an inexpensive sushi place right off 35 and Heritage Trace Parkway in Keller by Sam Moon, so I went there tonight and tried it.

Well, this is by far the nicest sushi restaurant I have ever been in. Although the "happy hour" sushi was cheap and a little bland, the crispy tuna roll (pictured below) was absolutely to die for! Also pictured is the price card at the bar.

In the immortal words of Dudley Moore in "Authur", "It doesn't suck!"

What government has come to...

I heard a great truth today I feel led to share. A man said that the election of the President of the United States has become very similiar to the selection of Miss America.

Sadly, the more I think about that statement, the more similarities I realize.

Pop term of the week: "G6"

G6 / G650

Slang for the Gulfstream G650, a twin-engine jet airplane manufactured by Gulfstream Aerospace.

The estimated pricetag exceeds $58 million USD, and will be assembled in Gulfstream's new manufacturing facility in Savannah, Georgia. Gulfstream begins taking orders for the aircraft in April, 2010, with delivery beginning in 2012.

Example usage:

"I am feelin' so fly like a G6".
