It starts with a thought...

If you wish to travel far and fast, travel light. Take off all your envies, jealousies, unforgiveness, selfishness, and fears.

Rambling on...

  • The human rights group SIOA, (Stop Islamization of America) is gathering signature on a petition to protest the mosque being built at ground zero.

The only drawback I see to signing it is being bombarded by donation solicitations... although I do like the fact that this group opposes Islam on human rights issues and not religious views.

  • As most of you know, I'm a conservative with a capital "C". So you know I'm not a Huffington post fan... but I read a very thought provoking piece that pissed me off, but I find myself going back and rereading it. Damn liberals!

  • So what do you do if you're the New York Times and you want to start some shit? Write an article on the gay culture at West Point. That's what the nation wants to know about...

  • Speaking of feeling safer, you might find this piece entertaining. Its' about how the biggest breach on the entire U.S. Military computer system was carried out by a flash drive on a government laptop.

  • I feel enlightened to know the 5 times a girl will lie to you!

  • Saving the best for last, this is a complete and utter stop down!!! The Fort Worth Star Telegram has listed 11 of the hottest babes in North Texas... There is a little sumpin, sumpin for the women on this list.

I don't understand why my wife didn't make the cut! It must be a political list or something...

Now get back to work and stop day dreaming!
BTW, enjoy your weekend...

Three things I did not
know about Islam

It starts with a thought...

As an American I am not so shocked that Obama was given the Nobel Peace Prize without any accomplishments to his name.

America gave him the White House based on those same credentials.

All my life, I always wanted to be somebody. Now I see that I should have been more specific.

Copper Wire

After having dug to a depth of 10 feet last year, New York scientists found traces of copper wire dating back 100 years and came to the conclusion that their ancestors already had a telephone network more than 100 years ago.

Not to be outdone by the New Yorkers, in the weeks that followed a California archaeologist dug to a depth of 20 feet, and shortly after, a Story in the LA Times read: "California archaeologists, finding of 200 year old copper wire, have concluded that their ancestors already had an advanced high-tech communications network a hundred years earlier than the New Yorkers."

One week later. A local newspaper in Texas reported the following: "After digging as deep as 30 feet in his pasture near Maypearl, Texas, Bubba, a self-taught archaeologist, reported that he found absolutely nothing. Bubba has therefore concluded that 300 years ago, Texas had already gone wireless".

Makes me proud to be a Texan!

Some people are like slinkies ~ not really good for anything, but they bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stares stairs.

  • If you need more proof that times are changing, read this letter to the editor at the WC Messenger. Our police are now "the gestapo" for upholding the law...go figure!

  • Who is the highest paid author of all time? The answer might suprise you...personally, I could care less. hehe

  • If you want to know why Gulf Coast state politicians are screaming "drill baby drill!" here's the reason!

  • NY Times headlines: In Striking Shift, Small Investors Flee Stock Market

Understatement of the year: "For a lot of ordinary people, the economic recovery does not feel real." LOREN FOX, an analyst at a New York research firm, describing investors who are pulling out of the stock market at a striking rate.

IMAGINE THAT! Why in the world would any "small investor" want to stay in the stock market after the losses they have taken over the last couple of years? That, combined with the "anti-business" policies of the current administration... only a dumbass would stay... unless they have inside information or like to gamble! If China's buying gold, I'm buying gold!

  • I don't really care where they build their damn mosques, as long as every American remembers the faces of Islam!

  • Today's simple home remedy: Avoid cutting yourself when slicing vegetables by having someone else hold them while you cut.
