Your opinion, please...

If this was addressed to our President,
would it make any difference if he saw it?


American Perpetrators and the G20 Meeting

Timothy Geithner tells the finance ministers from all over the world, “We must promote financial integrity.”

Only a US politician has the gall to to make that statement.

The first question I would ask Mr. Geithner, “What do American policitians know about financial integrity? The United States Congress is wholly responsible for the global economic crisis due to a lack of financial integrity…and now you’re telling us what we need to do? Your own President's administration has personally proven a lack of financial integrity."

According to CNN , Geithner said, ’ "There has been a lot of talk of reform. Now is the time for action… We must at the same time build a strong supervisory and financial regulatory framework for the future to ensure no such crisis occurs again."

He also said it was also vital to take decisive actions to strengthen the financial regulatory system and pledged to lay out more details of U.S. actions before another G20 gathering in April where political leaders will try to agree on how to bring a global recession to an end.


I find it odd that Secretary Geithner didn’t have a detailed plan of action when he went to the meeting…but he says he will have one by the next meeting in April.

Obama's interview with Brazilian President

Brazilian President Luis "Lula" da Silva told Obama and reporters that they are worried about US credibility and trust, “visa vi, the people and governments”. YA THINK?

He goes on to express concern because “money has vanished” and that every dollar their government spends to stimulate the economy will take a dollar away from their economy. Makes sense to me!

Brazil has the 10th largest economy in the world.

Bottom Line

Why in the hell would anyone listen to, much less trust, an American politician; especially on how to stimulate the economy when our own Congress created this global economic crisis? As the US government borrows and spends, it continues to hurt the economy…and everyone knows it!

Redistribution of wealth is happening at an alarming rate. The bankers will sell American assets to foreign countries just as fast as they can. These are the same countries who loan America money so our government can continue to operate. Maybe we should listen to them.

Natural Born Citizen

The following is a story occurring in an AP Government class at Santa Fe High School…

In one civics class, the young adults were discussing the qualifications to be President of the United States. It was pretty simple. The candidate must be a natural born citizen and at least 35 years of age.

However, one girl in the class immediately started in on how unfair was the requirement to be a natural born citizen. In short, her opinion was this requirement prevented many capable individuals from becoming president.

The class was just taking it in and letting her rant, but everyone's jaw hit the floor when she wrapped up her argument by stating, "What makes a natural born citizen any more qualified to lead this country than one born by C-section?"

This, my friends, is the future of our nation…

I wish I wrote this....

I would never trade my amazing friends, my wonderful life, my loving family for less gray hair or a flatter belly. As I've aged, I've become kinder to myself, and less critical of myself. I've become my own friend. I don't chide myself for eating that extra cookie, or for not making my bed, or for buying that silly cement gecko that I didn't need, but looks so avante garde on my patio. I am entitled to a treat, to be messy, to be extravagant.

I have seen too many dear friends leave this world too soon; before they understood the great freedom that comes with aging.

Whose business is it if I choose to read or play on the computer until 4 AM and sleep until noon? I will dance with myself to those wonderful tunes of the 60 &70's, and if I, at the same time, wish to weep over a lost love ... I will.

I will walk the beach in a swim suit that is stretched over a bulging body, and will dive into the waves with abandon if I choose to, despite the pitying glances from the jet set. They, too, will get old. I know I am sometimes forgetful. But there again, some of life is just as well forgotten. And I eventually remember the important things.

Sure, over the years my heart has been broken. How can your heart not break when you lose a loved one, or when a child suffers, or even when somebody's beloved pet gets hit by a car? But broken hearts are what give us strength and understanding and compassion. A heart never broken is pristine and sterile and will never know the joy of being imperfect.

I am so blessed to have lived long enough to have my hair turning gray, and to have my youthful laughs be forever etched into deep grooves on my face. So many have never laughed, and so many have died before their hair could turn silver.

As you get older, it is easier to be positive. You care less about what other people think. I don't question myself anymore. I've even earned the right to be wrong.

So, to answer your question, I like being old. It has set me free. I like the person I have become. I am not going to live forever, but while I am still here, I will not waste time lamenting what could have been, or worrying about what will be. And I shall eat dessert every single day (if I feel like it).

Achmed and the American Sniper

I do so love a "happily ever after" story...


This is a highly trained American sniper with his 50 caliber rifle which is his best friend. His assignment is to protect the 'Green Zone' in Baghdad, Iraq (basically his job is prevent the terrorists from sneaking into the compound).



Below, meet Achmed. One day, Achmed tried to breach the perimeter and was tagged from 1500 yards out. Note the vest laden with explosives! It is my belief that Achmed died a painless death, with no other casualties...and the best part, no animals were hurt in the process.

How can the Republican Party stand for the sanctity of life and their leader publicly support Pro-choice? Although I admire his honesty, I do not believe this man can be the leader of any political party that claims conservative values.

US News describes him as “”a devout Catholic” who attends services regularly. It also outlines several very impressve accomplishments. I actually admire what he has done with his life.

As a Christian, I am pro-life. Obviously, he must interpret The Holy Bible differently than the Pope. Mr. Steele was considered pro-life before becoming the leader of the RNC, but it seems he's just another flip-flopper. Everyone has the right to change their mind; after obtaining a political position is not the most popular time to do it.

Maxine Waters, U.S. Representative?

White banks, black banks and her bank!

‘At a hearing on minority lending in 2007, Ms. Waters criticized regulators for not doing enough to help minority banks stave off mergers with non-minority institutions. The lawmaker said she had contacted the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. in 2002 over such concerns and "I was told that there was nothing that could be done."

In her 2007 remarks, Ms. Waters alluded to two banks, Independence Bank of Washington, D.C., and "another bank that was about to be acquired by a major white bank out of Illinois."

In a brief interview in January, Ms. Waters said she was unaware the bank received $12 million of TARP money, which arrived in December. OneUnited was "just a small" bank, she said.’
Wall Street Journal ...She probably doesn't remember the $12,500 that the "small bank" gave her.

The L A Times reported the following:

‘House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank (D-Mass.) said in an interview Thursday that he advised Waters last fall to "stay out of it" because he knew her husband had served on the bank board.

Frank said Waters was concerned about the plight of minority-owned banks, as was he.

"She acknowledged that 'Sidney had been on the board. I could have a conflict here,' " Frank said. "I said, 'Fine, just stay out of it, I'll deal with it.' " ‘

The Honorable Representative, not long ago, threatened to "socialize...take control" of the US oil industry. Now I’m not a big fan of Rush Limbaugh, but in this video , he shows the world what she’s about and how she likes to throw her weight around.

Since I am increasingly being labeled racist, you need to realize that I have been extremely critical of George W. Bush, Barney Frank, John Murtha, William Geithner, Ben Bernanke, Joe Biden, John McCain, Arnold Schwartzenegger, Arne Duncan and Caroline Kennedy; as well as, President Barack Obama, Michael Steele, Roland Burris and now, Maxine Waters. I am extremely critical of anyone, especially politicians that I believe to be corrupt, criminal, immoral, moronic, deceitful, and dishonest. I don't care what color, political affiliation or who their daddy is!

($67 million to Democrats) Our President wants it, even though it will cost people jobs, hurt business and create pressure on workers by union leaders. Experts say it will kill the rights of workers and their privacy; only unions and politicians want it. Fox News

After helping bankrupt the auto and steel industry, Unions must look elsewhere for revenue. Their popularity has waned as thousands of Union workers get laid off or lose their jobs. Betty McCaughey has written a fantastic "must read" commentary on health care in America and how the “Stimulus Bill” will affect it. Bloomberg

Hospitals and doctors that are not “meaningful users” of the new system will face penalties. “Meaningful user” isn’t defined in the bill. U.S. Representative Dennis Kucinich (D) is wondering why $16 billion in TARP money went overseas. It's still none of our business! Wednesday, on Fox News, Kucinich said,

“The Treasury could have kept track of this but
they have, so far, decided not to... Citigroup
arranged a loan for $8 billion dollars in Dubai,
the Bank of America helped to …ah… involved
in a stock deal for $7 billion dollars in a
Chinese construction company. That a division
of JP Morgan – Chase [got] a billion dollar
deal going in India and all of these transactions
came just after they got TARP funds.”


Now why would a Chinese construction company get $8 billion US dollars? It sounds like TARP is making people happy all over the world. Is anyone else having a hard time reading between the lines?

Under the guise of TARP, the Federal Reserve Bank website states, “Treasury announced a voluntary Capital Purchase Program to encourage U.S. financial institutions to build capital to increase the flow of financing to U.S. businesses and consumers and to support the U.S. economy. Under the program, Treasury will purchase up to $250 billion of senior preferred shares on standardized terms.” Ownership sure has its advantages.

...says it’s none of our business where your $500 billion went, it's private. I’m afraid the Fed doesn’t want us to know. If they overpaid me $78 billion, they would be on me like the Justice Department on Bernie Madoff.

Why is the entire Congress not outraged that only a handful of men know the whereabouts of $500 billion dollars or did it just disappear? Is the Federal Reserve System above the law or just the US Congress?

A few politicans may make some noise, but I can't see Congress force the Fed to dislose the recipients. If we followed the money too far overseas, scandal could occur. Heaven forbid another scandal in Washington!

Am I missing something? I thought human cloning is precisely the purpose of embryonic stem cell research. The second the human egg is fertilized, a human clone is created (human life?). The human embryo can then be studied, regenerated and genetically altered... dissected, so to speak.

The cells are alive until dissection, when life is terminated.

Human life begats' human rights - right? Didn't we have a civil war over human rights? How can morality stand in the way of science and medicine?

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.

Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?

Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?

You and I don't propose a federal budget. The president does.

You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of representatives does.

You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does.

You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does.

You and I don't control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.

One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president, and nine Supreme Court justices 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.

I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank.

I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a president to do one cotton-picking thing. I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes.

Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault.

They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.

What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits. The president can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it.

The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes. Who is the speaker of the House? Nancy Pelosi. She is the leader of the majority party. She and fellow House members, not the president, can approve any budget they want. If the president vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.

It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million can not replace 545 people who stand convicted — by present facts — of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.

If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.

If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red .

If the Army & Marines are in IRAQ , it's because they want them in IRAQ . If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way.

There are no insoluble government problems.

Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power. Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like "the economy," "inflation," or "politics" that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.

Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible.

They, and they alone, have the power.

They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses.

Provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees.

We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!

Why Obama Wants America to Fail

If it makes no sense to the free market economists that populate the best economics programs across the nation, if it weakens the ability for the average family to make ends meet, and if it does not increase the number of people actually working, why is President Obama so stubbornly continuing to pursue his economically diabolical plan of destruction?

Because it's part of the master plan to "not let a good crisis go to waste."

President Obama knows the history of recessions and how Americans get out of them. He knows, for example, that if he gave back to the American family in just pure cash handouts what he is instead planning on taxing them (with interest) in the days to come, that the number would loom between $25,000-$65,000 per family, for every family in America.

But pretending to be doing something about the problem is only half the strategy for Obama. He truly intends to see socialized health care, and European styled labor agreements become reality in America. He knows the consequences of doing such things, he's seen all the projections and what the outcomes would be, but he's doing it anyway.

But there is one tiny problem standing in his way to getting there--"We The People!"

He knows that in order to be forced down paths that we don't wish to go, the only way he gets us to change our mind is to create abject suffering and misery .

I have a few questions. What happened to separation of church and state? …or was that just Christians and state? Why is the government competing with private enterprise? Is this how they plan to sell all the foreclosures? Will this create another mortgage crisis that taxpayers will have to bail out? Are we setting an example on how to bend Islamic law without breaking it?

There are so many unreasonable implications involved in this government program. Our nanny states continue to astonish me with their "meddling" in a person's private life. I believe this is just another social program to buy a religious vote.

Judy finally died, after having 25 children. Standing before her coffin, the preacher prayed for her.

He thanked the Lord for this very loving woman and said,

Chinese mega transport ship

This is how Wal-Mart gets all it's stuff from China. Get a load of this ship! 15,000 containers and a 207' beam! And look at the crew-size: 13 people for a ship longer than a US aircraft carrier which has a crew of 5,000 men and officers..


Silicone painting applied to the ship bottom reduces water resistance and saves 317,000 gallons of diesel per year.


This ship was built in five sections. The sections floated together and then welded. The command bridge is higher than a 10-story building and has 11 cargo crane rigs that can operate simultaneously.


Think it's big enough? Notice that 207' beam means it cannot fit through the Panama or Suez Canals . It is strictly transpacific. Check out the cruise speed: 31 knots means the goods arrive 4 days before the typical container ship (18-20 knots) on a China-to-California run. So this behemoth is hugely competitive when carrying perishable goods.
